The Xàbia-Gata highway, passing through the cemetery, will have a roundabout that will improve security and access to the cemetery and the future industrial estate. The Generalitat Valenciana has included in its 2019 budgets a game of 500.000 euros to carry out this infrastructure.
This construction is part of a project approved by the Ministry of Housing, Public Works and Vertebration of the Territory. The roundabout has a total budget of one million euros, but as the mayor said, José Chulvi, the Generalitat has raised this investment every two years, so that in the 2019 accounts a reserve of 500.000 euros appears and the second term will be in 2020.
Chulvi has valued this work very positively, since it will improve the security of access to the Funeral and Cemetery "and also, it is a very important infrastructure for the development of the industrial estate in the area of Catarroges, a project that is working intensely in the last year".
