Antonio Abellán (Cartagena 1964) runs along the border between the everyday and the transgressor through pictorial snapshots of exuberant imagination in which his characters, perhaps portraits of ourselves, interpret full of stories to tell once more complex roles.
Choreographic composition that faces, limbs, hands and shoes are distributed and buffeted space filling it with life, friction and knowing glances, complete with equally loaded with meaning environments: a brothel, a beach, a bucolic countryside or a space tale a bourgeois house or just the street. Nothing stops Abellán random.
His restless mind resolved with grace and delicate process, through the plastic, the most unexpected interpersonal situations. The first intention is emphatically painterly, integrating mixed media and collage, shape, color, elements and space in an elegant suit but deeply shaken.
