At Soler Blasco Museum you can visit the exhibition; "Els Castells andalusins de la Marina Alta". An exhibition on the castles of the Marina Alta that arose as a result of the donation of the numerous sketches of Valencian castles that Michael Stephenson donated to the Museum of Xàbia.

I wanted to thank you for confirming that the exhibition is only in Valencia, as the title hints at this. I think it was an oversight by the organization exclude us all Spanish speakers. Some seem to forget that Spanish is spoken by more than five hundred million people around the world, no matter who likes it. So that these policies do not subscribe exclusion generally, civil society, but they are promoted only by ignorant and shortsighted rulers.

I have been coming to Jávea for more than 40 years and it was always spoken in Valencian, but nowadays it is in fashion among politicians about "linguistic immersion" and, the truth, it seems to me that, instead of an immersion, it is a setback, since As you well say, Spanish is spoken by five hundred million people. And I also agree with you, as I said before, that this is nothing more than a political question, since "normal" people are totally bilingual. Anyway, let's hope this trend passes soon ...
The other day I was visiting this new exhibition, which I would have found very interesting if the explanatory posters had been written, in addition to Valencian, in Spanish (or Castilian, as they say here, even if the visitor is from Cáceres). It seems to me that there are many Spaniards and foreigners who do not have any obligation to know Valencian… And I think it is a lack of respect for the rest of Spain; that culture is limited only to a "Valencian-speaking" sector and to the rest, let us be struck by lightning! In Jávea people have always spoken in Valencian and nobody bothered, on the contrary, it was natural, but they had enough intelligence to put all the bilingual texts. The truth is that for me, as a Madrilenian, as will probably happen to those who come from Jaén, Calatayud or any other part of Spain (or abroad), this form of discrimination deeply bothers me.
