After the summer break, the PSOE municipal group forum returns with the Obert Marià Iglesias Forum to talk about quality education. As indicated by the person in charge of cultural matters at a press conference, Federico Ibáñez, he seemed obliged to talk about education and "at the beginning of the course"Emiliano Martinez seemed the perfect person for it because it is a person interested in education but not part of this world"In addition, Federico has also added that Emiliano has an international perspective on the subject of education thanks to his work in Latin America. Ibáñez has also highlighted the three virtues that"adorn our guest", due to his long career in the publishing world, currently being vice president of the Santillana Foundation, his work as an experimental pedagogue and his journey in the world of communication for over 20 years of the Board of Directors of the PRISA Group.
For his part, Emiliano Martinez, said that the title of the paper, "quality education", disturbed him as it is a cliché that is beginning to spend and that people use a lot. For this reason Martinez saw an opportunity to focus this title on aspects that are essential. He said his goal was to exhibit "what things are mandated by quality education"and that they really are important in this field. He has also ensured that"education in Spain is not a disaster because progress has been made in many things although it has problems and insufficiencies".
In another sense, the guest of honor and rapporteur, Emiliano Martinez, said during the press conference that in Spain, the two major parties had no intention of negotiating on education, which was unfortunate.
