The State Meteorological Agency has declared yellow alert for high temperatures in Xàbia and the region for Thursday August 13. The west wind is the cause of this rise in temperature. Needless to say that in this situation it is necessary to take appropriate measures and avoid fire and the fire risk is very high.
The alert will be activated at noon 12 and it is expected that during the day the 38º are exceeded. On Friday the alert disappears and temperatures will drop to maximum 29º, while on Saturday the rainfall is higher than 75% for almost all of the day. On Sunday the sun will shine though temperatures will give some respite.
