The Government Council of the Provincial Fire Brigade approved, Thursday, to request the land for the construction of the first surfaces of Emergency to the City Councils including Xàbia, which will be one of the three helisurfaces of the province that will be launched soon and they will offer service to all means of Emergencies in the Marina Alta.
It should be remembered that this management goes back to the 2017 summer, specifically to August, when the Provincial Council of Alicante announces that Xàbia will have a helisurface. From there, in December of a year ago, the consistory of Xàbia determines which will be the plot destined to the surface of emergencies.
Later, in February of 2018, a helicopter of the Provincial Fire Brigade of Alicante did landing tests in what will be the future helideur of Emergencies of Xàbia.
During this week, before knowing the approval of the Governing Council, the Mayor of Xàbia pointed to Xàbia.com that this surface would already be in operation in the next summer of 2019.
