The Calima restaurant took the prize for best cover of "La Mar de Tapas"

After two days of deliberation and tasting between the different hotel establishments of the Tapas Marinera route "La Mar de Tapas", the jury made up of representatives of the Fiestas del Loreto Commission, of the Junta de Moors and Christians, of the Association of Restauradores de Xàbia, of the Association of Merchants and Employers of Customs of the Sea and a municipal representative, have agreed that the winner is the establishment Calima restaurant, with the lid "Papillote crispy sea bass and clams on bread with salmorejo".

A cover that perfectly combines the three aspects to take into account when assessing the best proposal, such as: innovation, presentation and product.

The jury itself highlighted the following establishments with two second prizes. First runner-up Restaurante Bahía for the proposal of "Gurita in sauce" A cover that transmits the marine essence in its elaboration using an autochthonous product.

Second runner-up to the establishment Andares Ibéricos for the innovation manifested in the combination of products that emerges from its cover "Beet gazpacho with Mediterranean caviar and smoked sardines".

The awards ceremony will be held this Sunday 11 October at 13 hours, on Avenida Jaime I.
