The Poble Nou de Benitatxell activates a special protocol in the cemetery for All Saints

21 October 2020 - 12: 37

Given the current scenario and to guarantee compliance with all security measures, the Town hall of El Poble Nou de Benitatxell has activated a special protocol in the cemetery for the celebration of All Saints, a date of great attendance in the cemetery of the town.

During October 30 and 31 and November 1, the venue will open from 8:00 a.m. to 13:30 p.m. and from 14:30 p.m. to 20:30 p.m. It will be closed at noon from 13:30 p.m. to 14:30 p.m. to carry out an intensive disinfection of the facilities. As for the accesses, a protocol has been established to avoid crowds. The entrance will be made through the old cemetery, the exit through the new part and people with reduced mobility will be able to access through the parking entrance. In addition, within the facilities, itineraries marked with arrows must be followed.

The use of a mask inside will be mandatory, as well as hand disinfection with hydroalcoholic gel before entering and leaving. The session will also provide sprays to disinfect common items such as ladders and brooms after each use.

As every year, the municipal services will carry out the usual maintenance, painting, gardening and lighting tasks, and this year, in addition, a thorough preliminary disinfection will be carried out. Likewise, police devices will be set up during the days of greatest influx for the regulation of traffic, surveillance and
information. For their part, the Civil Protection volunteers will provide support inside the cemetery to answer any questions.

On November 1, the All Saints Mass will be celebrated in the Santa María Magdalena church at 17:00 p.m. In anticipation of a significant influx that day, chairs and speakers will be set up in the square to be able to follow the ceremony from outside.

To avoid massive displacements, the response will be made this year in the church after mass.
