El Soler Blasco Museum from Jávea will host from this week a photographic exhibition based on the snapshots submitted to the "I Fogueres 2014 Xàbia Photo Contest", organized by the Fogueres commission, the Department of Culture and the Xàbia Photographic Group.
The opening will be this Thursday, April 2, starting at 20 pm. Among the images that can be seen, the winners of the contest, signed by the members of AFX José Vives "El Gallo" and Xavi Gutiérrez, who won the first and second prize. The exhibition will remain open until April 19.
The Xàbia photographic group continues on a roll in the contests of the region. This time it was Juan Martínez Morenilla and José "el Gallo" Vives, who won first prize in the II Auditorium Photographic Auditori Teulada-Moraira.
The jury of the contest, organized jointly by the Auditori and the Fotoclub l'Andragó Teulada-Moraira under the slogan "A look at the architecture", considered that the series of photographs presented by Juan Martínez and "El Gallo" were the best in their respective categories: retouch photography and retouched photography. These images are part of an exhibition currently hosted by the Auditori Teulada-Moraira.
