The Dénia Hospital receives between today and tomorrow about thirty professionals who participate in the European project TEADAL. The objective of the program is to improve the capacities to use all the digital information that is generated daily in different productive sectors of the European Union, such as: Health, Education, Transport, Industry or Banking.
The project focuses on the management and massive analysis of data, regardless of where they are extracted, -near the point of generation or in the cloud- and the establishment of rules that guarantee their privacy.
In the field of Health, the Hospital de Dénia is a pilot center for this European project, which seeks to establish secure mechanisms so that patients have the possibility to decide if they want to collaborate in research studies, in which their data is not anonymized .
In addition to the Dianense center, TEADAL also participates in the Dutch bank ING, the Swiss smart crop company Terraview, the Italian transport company Regione Toscana, the Israeli subsidiary of the IBM technology company or the polytechnic universities of Berlin, Milan and Vienna.
