The Regional Hospital of the Marina Alta is the headquarters of the VII edition of pharmacotherapeutic Management Program, attended by top professionals in hospital pharmacy. An event that hospital Dianense shares with Dr. Moliner Hospital of Valencia.
According to the Chief of the Pharmacy Area of Dénia Hospital, Jaime Poquet, "the future of hospital pharmacy is in customizing treatments. Just this year we plan to start Inglés Cathedra of Modern Oncology Research (ECMOR); a project halfway between Jávea Cancer Care, the University Cardenal Herrera, CEU, Valencia and Marina Salud. The project, co-led by the services of Medical Oncology and Pharmacy, allow greater efficacy and lower toxicity of cancer treatments, through customizing therapies".
For his part, Dr. Javier Carrera Hueso, Chief Pharmacist at the Dr. Moliner Hospital in Valencia, highlighted "the future of healthcare passes devote more resources to the attention of chronicity, causing a decrease in hospital admissions for acute patients".
