In the early hours of Saturday to Sunday we will have to delay the clock to adapt to the winter schedule. In the dawn of the 24 to the 25 of October to the 3, they will be the 2. The night will be longer and some will take advantage of it to sleep more and others to have one more hour of leisure.
From time change will be dark before and the days will be shorter. The aim of this delay, which has been applied since mid-70, is to reduce energy consumption and equating the beginning of the working day with the hours of daylight.
Many digital terminals are already programmed to automatically change the time, that is, this Saturday when three o'clock in the morning the time will return to two without having to do anything in, for example, most mobile phones.
Analogue clocks, however, must be adjusted to the time change manually.
