Xàbia shows the world of Les Pesqueres with the full exhibition of Jake Abbott and Felipe Escolano titled 'Ink Nits'. The Casa del Cable will be the place where the historical memory of the traditional art of fishing typical of towns in the Marina Alta such as Xàbia and El Poble Nou de Benitatxell is framed.

The exhibition, funded by the Ministry of Culture, collects thousands of images and hours of recording that document in detail this unique fishing art, unique in the world with portraits of fishermen, the locations of the cliff areas where they installed their hurdles , ropes and ladders to fish.

Last year you could enjoy a part of this exhibition at the Cirne Foundation. Now the sample arrives enlarged and complete at the Casa del Cable. The inauguration will be Friday, November 29, at 20 hours and can be visited until January 5.
