The Xàbia Negra Festival will be held from 2 to 4 in November

The Literature, Film and Photography Festival Black Xàbia will hold its third edition on the November bridge, specifically from 2 to 4.

In his presentation, the mayor, José ChulviHe stressed that this festival "It is a reference in the entire Circuit of the Valencian Community, as well as in the number of fans who come to spend this weekend in Xàbia and the number of first level authors who attend".

Chulvi reviewed the great reception of this festival by the public and appreciated the effort made between all the associations to have a high quality cultural offer.

The Photographic Association of Xàbia, the Riurau Cinema School, the Garum theater group, the high school IES, the bookstores and the merchants associations of Xàbia Histórica and Xàbia Port have been the collectives that have collaborated in this cultural event.

Activity program

The councilman of Culture, Quico Moragues, indicated that this edition has a wide program in which there are exhibitions, book fair, round tables of authors, conferences, screenings, a theatrical route in the historic center, The attack of 1812, the concert in the Plaza de la Comare Maruja Varó, by the Soulomònics group and the final gala.

The opening will be on Friday 2 November at the Municipal Market and the final gala on Sunday 4 at the Cinema Jayán with the Criminala Show.

Moragues said that in the literary part they repeat the classics of Xàbia Negra, Vicente Garrido, Nieves Abarca and Toni Hill as well as Carlos Zanón, Pere Cervantes and the historian Vicent Baydal.
