Xàbia will once again be filled this summer with musicians from all over the world willing to perfect their technique. After two years of hiatus due to the pandemic, Música a l'Estiu recovers its international course directed by the oboists Thomas Indermühle and Pilar Fontalba. It will take place from July 25 to 31 at the conservatory facilities.
A seven-day intensive in which wind instrument students can work with and receive advice from great European soloists such as Vicens Prats (flute), Thomas Indermühle (oboe), Pierre Martens (bassoon), José Luis Estellés (clarinet) and Will Sanders (horn). They will also have two accompanying pianists, Amedeo Salvato and Agnese Eglina.
As usual, the course will be reflected in the cultural offer of Xàbia with a cycle of chamber music concerts open to the public in which teachers and students will perform.
Registration is now open at following link and any questions about the course can be directed to the email musicaalestiu@gmail.com.
