The Plenary of the Consell has approved the decree that establishes the regulatory bases for the direct granting of aid to working people who have taken advantage of the reduction in working hours (by 50% or more) to care for family members as a direct consequence of COVID -19, with the aim of compensating for their decrease in income.
People with tax domicile in the Valencian Community who have taken part in the reduction in working hours during the period of the state of alarm by a percentage equal to or greater than 50% and who maintain it for at least one month after may benefit from these aids. from the opening date of the application submission period.
The amount of aid will be 600 euros, if the reduction in working hours is between 81% and 100%; 450 euros, if the reduction is between 61% and 80% and 300 euros, if the reduction is between 50% and 60% of the day. Total, Works allocates 3 million euros to these aids.
The deadline to request aid will be 15 working days from the publication of this decree in the Official Gazette of the Generalitat Valenciana (DOGV). Applications may be submitted electronically on the Labora website with an electronic certificate or in any official registry.
