Benitachell has already held the first meeting of the Residents' Council, which has served to establish the priorities and concerns of this important group in the town.
During the meeting, Councilman Residents, Dirk Rheindorf, presented the investment proposals for the year 2016 and asked for advice to council members to locate the best places where underground containers will be placed, and a report of roads urges asphalting in each of the developments.
Rheindorf asked council members to warn people of their areas about the need for responsible water consumption, taking into account the current situation of drought affecting the entire region. Also during the meeting it was acrodó the council should hold periodic meeting with neighbors through talks and lectures given by the own municipal technicians. The next meeting is set for May 10, as they will be quarterly meetings.
The new members of the council are Andy Dawson, as representative of the urbanization Los Molinos and surroundings; John A Power, as representative of La jewel, Valle del Portet, Golden Valley and surroundings urbanizations; Susan Platt, as representative of Calistros, Mimosas and environs; Conny Rheindro and Hubert Uhl as representatives of Cumbre del Sol and Eric Ross, as representative of Les Fonts.
