The support group for children with cancer Mabs managed to collect a total of 1.500 euros that will be used for palliative care for Fontilles patients.
Last Sunday they organized a charity event at the Sofia's restaurant where they managed to gather that amount thanks to a raffle and different activities, to which a very special donation was added: the owner of the restaurant cut her hair and will send it to England, where they will turn it into wigs for sick children.
The Councilor for Social Welfare of Xàbia, Tere Bisquert, attended the event to show their support to the group and congratulate them for their work in support of cancer patients.
