The Minister of Territorial Policy, Public Works and Mobility, Arcadi Spain, has indicated during the visit to the monitoring of the emergency works that are being carried out in the Port of Xàbia, that the Nautical Club of this town "will be the first in a port of the Generalitat that will have the renewal of the concession for ten years ".
Spain recalled that "other investments worth more than two million euros are planned in the port, in addition to these emergency works and other actions that are being carried out, always in collaboration with the Town hall and the port community.
For Arcadi Spain, "the lost time is being recovered after many years in which the ports of the Valencian Community had not had the necessary investments, not even for their maintenance".
The minister added that the port of Xàbia is an emblematic port that "should be an example of how a port integrated in the city should be, open to all and an economic engine, where the two actions, fishing and sports, are combined. and nautical, to promote and increase the tourist and sustainable capacity that our ports must have ".
