The Cirne de Xàbia Foundation was the setting chosen by chef Bernd H. Knöller and photographer Xavier Mollà to present his latest work, Unanimous. A large-scale work that claims gastronomy as art and without deception.
Unanimous is the second joint book by Chef Knöller, holder of a Michelin star and two Repsol soles at his restaurant Riff de València, and the Valencian photographer Xavier Mollà. Bernd expresses his recipes and Xavi experiments with his snapshots.
"There are no tricks here," clarified Xavi Mollà, who stressed that the chef of the Riff is not a friend to prepare their dishes to be photographed. Cook as always and let the photographer capture your kitchen alive, honest and fresh product.
Knöller, passionate about Mediterranean cuisine, describes his recipes in a fun way, not strict. The kitchen is not for him mathematics, but rebellion. "I love to skip the rules, even if they are well established", the chef said.
