Xàbia City Council defines the bases of the new bridge on Génova street

November 30 from 2022 - 15: 11

El Javea Town Hall prepares the tender for the construction project of the new bridge on Calle Génova. An infrastructure that will allow connecting this road with Manuel Bordes street, improving the general mobility of the adjoining streets.

The project must follow some premises set out in the draft. It will be a bridge with a single eye (the length to be saved is recommended), two lanes 3,50 meters wide, two 3-meter sidewalks and a 2-meter bike lane.

The layout is planned in such a way that it connects naturally with Génova street, does not increase the ground level, affects the existing hydraulic section as little as possible and minimizes the effects on the Gorgos river bed.

In addition, the execution must facilitate the organization of the work, allowing access to the neighbors to their homes during the execution of the works.

As for the structure, a deck of precast prestressed beams supported on reinforced concrete abutments was chosen.

    Good afternoon
    JAVEA NEEDS:
A good promenade that goes from the Port to the Arenal
Some good sidewalks, which in the section C/ Génova - Avda. Cabo la Nao 55 slip and are always broken - On more than one occasion I have seen a citizen fall
    street cleaning
And if they also clean the Gorgos river and finish off the aesthetics of the municipality, well, come on... everything that is better for the quality of life and aesthetics of a wonderful environment like we have in Jávea.
I encourage you to continue investing to improve

Don't you see that we citizens don't want a new bridge?
The citizens want the Avenida del Primer Montañar to be fixed and have a good walk as God intended and not the merdal that there is now, is it so hard to pay attention to the citizens of Jávea for once?
That the City Council, specifically the Psoe, governs for all citizens and with Chulvi's words that they govern here for all, is a falsehood like the entire electoral program that he promised when he decided to enter as a representative of the people.
Stop being ridiculous and start governing for all your people and if you don't know how, resign.

«I imagine that this will mean leaving Avenida MEDITERRANEO one-way, making the entire section a pedestrian walkway and eliminating that horrible vehicle parking lot next to the mouth of the Gorgos River». JA Beitia.

    I TOTALLY AGREE.

This bridge has been in the works for I don't know how many years and it doesn't seem like a bad idea to me, but I think there are much more important problems to solve - sewerage, bus schedule (it would have to run every half hour), dirt everywhere, outfall spilling fecal water (and without saying a word about this), lighting and paving in many areas, etc., etc.- to bring up this issue now, shortly before the elections. To take a photo putting the first stone, if they put it, and then leaving it standing?

  6. Luis says:

    This Calatrava borders it.

  7. Bernard says:

And renew the rue Isaac Albeniz C.est for when
