The Department of Sports of Xàbia organizes, as every summer, two municipal initiative campuses so that the boys and girls of the municipality spend the summer in an active and healthy way, thus complementing the offer that comes from the clubs and sports entities of the municipality.
Both will take place in public facilities (Palau Municipal and Les Mesquides sports area) and have been organized by age group.
On the one hand, there is 'Psychomotricity in summer' for boys and girls between 5 and 7 years old (born between 2017 and 2019) in which activities will be carried out to stimulate symbolic play and motor, affective and social development through imagination, creativity and expression. There are 30 places available and it will be based at the Palau d'Esports.
The other, titled Activa't a l'Estiu It is focused on multisports and racket modalities (paddle tennis, badminton or table tennis). It is designed for those born between 2009 and 2016, organized into different age groups from the pre-benjamín, benjamín, alevín and infantile categories. There are 45 places and it will take place in the Les Mesquides field and the paddle tennis courts.
Both campuses will be from July 3 to August 11, structured in three fortnights, and have a fee of 70 euros per fortnight (includes shirt and insurance). The registration period from May 22 to June 19 through the sporttia App.
Also clubs like washinkai karate, nautical youngtut Xàbia, Sports Javea, Penya La Marina, sports Montgó, Judo Dojo Do and Rhythmic Xàbia have prepared summer camps.
