El Javea Town Hall today incorporated thirteen new temporary workers thanks to the ECOVID employment promotion program, convened by LABORA. The workers will be full-time and for the next six months, carrying out tasks of prevention, containment and mitigation of the effects of COVID-19.
The beneficiaries of this program have been selected by the Local Agency for Local Development from among the unemployed who were registered in the LABORA system.
The ECOVID program is promoted by the Valencian Employment and Training Service (LABORA) with the aim of promoting socio-labor integration through work and service contracts of general and social interest.
In the case of Xàbia, the Ministry of Sustainable Economy, Productive Sectors, Commerce and Labor, through LABORA, has subsidized these contracts with 169.874,55 euros.

Hopefully the day will come when all of Jávea works for the City Council, I think that at this rate I will see it.
