The Torre dels Ducs of Medinaceli of El Verger hosts next Friday, September 6, the exhibition Marinasby the artist Oscar Bento. Its inauguration will be at 20 hours and will remain open to the public until September 28.
The exhibition is organized by the Foundation Baleària and the City Council of El Verger and can be visited from Tuesday to Saturday from 17 to 20 hours.
Oscar Bento (Buenos Aires, Argentina, 1950) is a painter, sculptor and photographer with a consolidated artistic career. His work has been exhibited in different European countries and in the United States, forming part of numerous national and foreign collections.
Marinas represents his passion for the sea and for Mediterranean light, an iconographic constant since the painter settled in Jávea in 1980. The vision of the sea at different times of the day seduces the artist by offering different views of the same approach. The energy of a wide and calm sea extends over a horizon of straight lines, interrupted by the intense reflection of the moon or by the immortalized moment of the breaking of the waves.
Bento offers a sensory vision of the elements through clearly defined, clear images, capturing reality and its essence. Of its pictorial production, Interior Lands, Pura salud, Calmas de January, Scotch & Sofa, Calm & Balance and the Wine and Chocolate collections, among others, are highlighted, in which its evolution is appreciated through various registers and formats explored.
The Torre dels Ducs de Medinaceli is impregnated with beautiful marinas that reveal an intimate, energetic and captivating personality.
