Álvaro de Luna Actor guest of honor at Chess in Jávea

The actor Álvaro de Luna will be the guest of honor of the Living Chess from Jávea, as indicated by the organization of the event today. The actor, known for his performances in successful series such as Curro Jiménez, Águila Roja or El Misterio de Calenda, will be in charge of reading the movements of the black pieces, along with the small Rebeca JiménezRunners-up Spain sub-10 chess, to read the movements of the white pieces.

The Living Chess, declared as a festival of National Tourist Interest, will represent this year an original work called "The clan of the cova del migdia" (The clan of the cave at noon). A play written by its director, Rafael AndariasSet in the age of copper and inspired by the archaeological finds cova of the migdia barranc which hid a burial site chalcolithic. Chessmen and the scene that initiates the action will be represented by children between 6 and 14 years. The narrator, who is in charge of telling the story go in history, will be the pediatrician Luis Santo, known for his charitable work and his popular books on child health.

This XVII edition of Chess in Jávea, will be held on Saturday July 27 to 22: 30 h. on the esplanade of the port of Jávea.
