67% of people diagnosed with coronavirus since the last update in the Valencian Community (almost seven out of 10) are asymptomatic. 629 new cases have been registered by PCR test, which puts the total number of positives at 15.425 people.
By province, the number of new cases is as follows: 20 in Castellón, 133 in the province of Alicante; 463 in the province of Valencia, to which must be added 13 new unassigned cases, bringing the number of cases not assigned to any province to 23.
On the other hand, 353 patients have been discharged with coronavirus, so the total number of people cured amounts to 19.634 people. Thus, there are currently 2.389 active cases, which represents 10,16% of all positives.
Valencian hospitals currently have 183 people admitted: 9 in the province of Castellón, with no ICU patients; 54 in the province of Alicante, 7 of them in the ICU; and 120 in the province of Valencia, 9 of them in the ICU.
One death from coronavirus has been registered since the last update, so the total number of deaths stands at 1.482 people. The total number of tests carried out for the detection of the coronavirus amounts to 646.981, of which 511.219 have been through PCR and 135.762 through rapid test.
Residences
At the moment, there are some positive cases in 18 homes for the elderly (9 in the province of Alicante and 9 in the province of Valencia), 3 homes for people with functional diversity (2 in the province of Alicante and 1 in the province of Valencia) and 2 centers for minors in the province of Valencia.
