The Local Police of Xàbia has informed, to the 10 hours of today Sunday, that the zone of the Arenal is completely closed to traffic due to flooding and access on foot is not recommended. Throughout this morning it has had to rescue 100 vehicles that have broken down while trying to move through flooded areas.
From emergencies they insist on do not take the car if it is not strictly necessary but in case of having to do it, avoid the accesses to the Arenal, flooded roads and in those that can cede walls.
Residents in the area of Portitxol, La Guardia or Cabo La Nao should preferably use the Camí Cabanes to go to the urban area.
Triana River and Bridge
From the Local Police advise Do not drive on the Triana Bridge due to the flood of the Gorgos River, although its volume seems to have stabilized, and due to the storm of the sea.
