Two new positives brings the number of infections in Marina Alta to 223

Updating data on the evolution of the pandemic indicates an increase in the number of coronavirus infections in the Marina Alta. After two days without registering positive cases or deaths, in the last 24 hours two new cases have been detected, bringing the total number to 223.

The number of deaths has been maintained for 10 days at 19. The Marina Alta continues to be one of the best able to withstand the coronavirus pandemic in the Valencian Community. Its health department, Dénia, is the fourth with the lowest rate of infections and deaths from COVID-19. In fact, this Monday, the region passes to phase 1 of the de-escalation.

Data of the Valencian Community

The Ministry of Universal Health and Public Health has confirmed that 65 people have been cured of coronaviruses in the Valencian Community since the last update (yesterday). There are already a total of 8.861 discharges, which represents 64% of the cases detected so far. In addition, 164 new positive cases have been detected: 52 through PCR and 112 through rapid tests, bringing the total number of positives to 13.840 since the pandemic began.

Of all of them, 3.641 cases are currently active, representing 26% of all confirmed cases.

As for hospitalizations, the downward trend continues and stands at 480 people (8 fewer since the last update). Of all of them, 87 people are in the ICU (5 less than the previous day).

To date there have been a total of 1.338 deaths in the Valencian Community, 10 deaths since the last update.

    I do not understand why they do not give the municipality in addition to the region where new cases have been detected and yet they want us to install an app on the mobile to track and report detected cases close to our position.
