The pianist, Antonio Martínez and the percussionist, Miriam Llerena, were students of the Professional Conservatory of Xàbia until each one entered the different higher centers. Currently, the two performers are a promise in the world of music, being in turn a pride for the Professional Conservatory of Xàbia, which once again underlines the quality of its teachers and performers.
The two young musicians have in common their involvement and commitment with the different musical and artistic associations of the city of Marina Alta, such as the choral group ARS NOVA in the case of Martínez and the Band of the Center Artístic Musical de Xàbia in the case of Llerena. A way to contribute your knowledge and enrich the musical environment of

In the case of Martínez, he began his studies with the pianist and also a flute player, Silvia Ferrer. Martínez, who was awarded the First Prize in the Interpretation Contest of the Xàbia Professional Conservatory of Music in 2015, is in luck since he has just graduated in the specialty of piano interpretation from the Superior Conservatory of Music of Castilla - La Mancha. Martínez, who has received advice from great international pianists such as Brenno Ambrosini, Carles Marín, Florian Hoelscher and Javier Espinós from Javea, among others, has been admitted to the Master's in Musical Performance and Research by the Valencian International University (VIU).
Miriam Llerena
In the case of Llerena, who began her studies with the percussionist Joan Bou, also a professor at the Xàbia Conservatory, she has been the winner of different performance awards and has been part of various orchestras with which she has had the opportunity to play in such concert halls. important as the Musikverein of Vienna, among others.
Llerena, which was part of the Superior Conservatory of Music of Salamanca, is currently perfected in that of Navarra. This year, in addition, he has performed in important international festivals such as After Cage, Agora percussion and
Musika-Music.
