The new update of coronavirus data by municipalities provided by the Ministry of Health registers a slight increase in infections compared to the previous day in the region, but a great shot in Xàbia. On this occasion, the Dénia Health Department has added 14 new cases since last Friday, of which 12 have been accounted for in Xàbia.
Xàbia is the population that has registered the most cases in this update, bringing to 1.490 the total number of positive cases since the pandemic began, with 23 active cases at this time. Regarding the accumulated incidence, it is at high risk of contagion with 82,10 cases per 100.000 inhabitants.
With regard to the Marina Alta, there have been 10.120 positive cases since March 2020. Of this total, there are currently 51 active, which places the cumulative incidence at 29,89 infections per 100.000 inhabitants, two points below from the last update, somewhat out of the ordinary.
