The Governing Board of the Provincial Council of Alicante has approved aid totaling 85.000 euros for the development of equal opportunity plans and programs for the prevention of gender violence in 8 46 Mancomunidades and municipalities in the province.
The award of these grants is due to the resolution of two different calls. On the one hand, the provincial institution 70.000 euros allocated to the development and implementation of Equality Plans and 46 municipalities in the province.
The Provincial Council continues to support and work for equal opportunities in the municipalities and with these grants it is possible for all town hall smaller ones can continue organizing activities for this purpose.
In the district of Marina Alta you will receive grants municipalities of Alcalalí, Beniarbeig, Benissa, Benitachell, Calpe, Castell de Castells, Denia, Gata de Gorgos, Javea, Ondara, Orba, Parcent, Pedreguer, Pego, Senija and Teulada.
