The police and Civil Guard Xàbia arrested a man of 41 years 35 and one woman, both of Spanish nationality, as suspected of stealing two houses located in the area of Cabo de la Nao.
The arrest took place in the afternoon of yesterday in an operation coordinated by the two security forces that established a control in the Cami de Cabanes that served to stop the car where the thieves were traveling. The citizen collaboration was vital for the location of the vehicle and its subsequent detention.
The booty by burglars in the assault on homes totaled 200 euros. The thieves took advantage of the owners were in the garden to access the inside of the houses. They did not force any lock, window nor made material damage. The inhabitants of the house suffered no injury.
For several weeks it has increased surveillance on the beaches, coves and the developments and it seems that this serving to deter criminals since according to their own local police, for the moment, everything is pretty quiet.
