Jávea stop at two people for crimes against privacy and Internet threats

Several months ago a neighbor of Jávea reported not being able to access his email account, in addition, the friends that the complainant had in the address book of his email, said they received threatening messages and insults from that account. There the police investigation began and the agents after several months began to suspect neighbors of the victim since from their homes they took the wireless network of the complainant without authorization and they also accessed in the same way to their email since they thought that they would not be identified by the Police.

The Provincial Brigade of the Judicial Police Alicante-Crime Technology has carried out the operation and also after what happened, has given a number of tips for users who have Internet in their homes to avoid outsiders can enter their teams . These tips include the following: Hide the name of the wireless network, where possible use the wired and not wireless, change the password and configuration that comes default on the router, not to disclose the password to acquaintances or neighbors and remember that mobile or computer programs that are used to obtain passwords are crime.
