The National Police have arrested a 40-year-old Spanish national in the town of Dénia who was carrying almost 250 grams of marijuana hidden in his vehicle.
From the Denia National Police Station, control devices have been increased that are intermittently established on access roads to the town in order to enforce the provisions emanating from the Royal Decree on the state of alarm.
In the course of one of these controls, the agents stopped a person to carry out the appropriate checks, after verifying their identity, the person identified voluntarily handed the police a small bag containing marijuana inside.
After a more exhaustive search of their vehicle, the plaintiffs discovered hidden in the hollow of the spare wheel of the car two bags of marijuana vacuum-packed containing almost 250 grams of
marijuana
The detainee was accused of a crime against public health and was placed at the disposal of the Dénia Guard Investigating Court.
