Agents of the National Police of the Dénia Police Station have arrested in the town of Dénia a young Spaniard of 19 years, accused of the alleged commission of two crimes, one of attempted theft with force and one of robbery with force, after allegedly accessing two bars to steal. The collaboration of two witnesses was decisive in locating and arresting this person.
The investigation began on January 22, when the agents received the complaint from the owner of a bar in Dénia, in which he claimed to have been the victim of a robbery in his establishment. During the early morning, a young man had tried to access the bar through a window of the establishment, witnessing the events a neighbor of the area, who did not hesitate to alert the police.
The agents gathered all possible information from the alleged perpetrator, thus beginning the investigation. In the course of it, the researchers learned of another fact the next day with the same modus operandi.
On this occasion, the alleged author managed to access the establishment at dawn through the window and stole 400 euros from the cash register. These facts were observed by a woman, who promptly notified the 091 Operational Room of the National Police, giving an account of everything observed.
With the information provided, the agents determined that it was the same alleged thief. As a result of the investigations carried out by the investigators, they managed to identify this person, for which reason they established a police search device that ended last Friday with his arrest.
The detainee, who had numerous police records for similar acts, was placed at the disposal of the Dénia Guard's Court of Instruction.
