Agents of the Civil Guard and the National Police, in the so-called operation "BOXII-NOEL", Have detained JMLG and JFG, two men from 56 and 71 years of age, as alleged perpetrators of three robberies committed with violence and intimidation in banks in Cuenca, Toledo and Móstoles (Madrid). One of the detainees is also charged with a crime for illegal possession of weapons.
One of these individuals, JFG of 71 years was arrested in Xàbia, near his home when he was about to get into his car. The intervention came to suspicions that could make a new heist imminently.
In operation, several registers have been performed, stepping in two short firearms used by the robbers to intimidate employees of bank branches. The operation was initiated following two robberies committed in banks in the towns of Cuenca and Toledo, in the months of January and August of the year 2013.
