The Ministry of Health has provided the new data on the evolution of the coronavirus pandemic. The report shows a decrease in the numbers of new infections both in Xàbia and in the region. The Dénia Health Department, to which the entire Marina Alta belongs, has registered a total of 7 positives compared to the 17 of the past day. A notable drop that places the total number of infections at 10.143 since the start of the pandemic, of which 43 cases are still active. These figures place the accumulated incidence bordering on the new normal, that is, at 28,13 cases per 100.000 inhabitants, of the 25 that are considered low risk of contagion.

With regard to Xàbia, in this new update, the population only registers 1 contagion compared to the 10 that it recorded last Friday. The total positive of Xàbia since the beginning of the pandemic is 1.501 of which 26 are active at the moment.
