Around the 12 at noon, members of the Dénia Fire Department went to extinguish the fire in a house on Cagliari Street in Xàbia. The fire has occurred in the room of a house located in a building on the ground floor and three floors, which has burned completely, as reported from the Regional Fire Park.
Due to the great smoke that has been caused both in the house and in the staircase, all the neighbors have been evicted, a total of 40 people, according to data provided by the Fire Department.
In the affected home were a woman, three children and a dog, who apparently have not suffered any damage. The flames have been extinguished quickly. Local police have come to the scene and from the Fire Station, a first exit vehicle, a stairlift, a command unit and a police car.
At the moment the causes that caused the fire are unknown.
