Numerous students of the different Conservatories of the Province of Alicante have participated in the tests to be able to access the Youth Orchestra of the Province of Alicante (OJPA). This young but experienced orchestra gathers a broad representation of young musicians from all the regions of Alicante. Today, it has become a solid high-level musical formation that has played in such important places as the Musikverein in Vienna and that has several awards for its trajectory.
The tests were carried out last November 2 in the auditorium of the Diputación de Alicante (ADDA) and four students of the Professional Conservatory of Music of Xàbia were chosen. A great pride for the center that focuses on quality and the promotion of students, a center that begins to be a reference in the musical teaching of the Navy.
This year, it will be Lucia Cholbi and Elanor Allman with the violin, the trombonist, Javier Gavilà and Marc Gavilà with the clarinet who will participate in all the activities, rehearsals and concerts that the OJPA will carry out.
Also, this Christmas we can see them perform with the Orchestra in the different concerts that will take place in the various cities of Alicante.
