The Christian-Marc Olmos Vente Foundation organized last weekend a pick oranges solidarity to collaborate with Red Cross Xàbia and Caritas Dénia. Workers Service Stations REPSOL of the region and the Foundation staff dedicated themselves to collect oranges on a farm owned by the Foundation located in the urbanization La Sella Pedreguer.
Xàbia volunteers Red Cross and Caritas Dénia undertook to sort, classify, apply and transporting oranges from the farm to the destination.
In total, Cruz Roja Xàbia collected 300 2,5 kilos boxes, representing approximately 750 kilos of oranges, which will be distributed among users that Red Cross helps daily.
The president of the local assembly of Javea, José-Luis Doménech said he "very grateful to the Christian-Marc Olmos Vente Foundation and Don Pascual Olmos for this show of solidarity, for this donation, but also for having thought of an activity of this kind that demonstrates, with the participation of Repsol, Cáritas and volunteers Red Cross, that there are supportive people who give part of their time and effort to others and that together we can do many things. "
