José Ramón García proposed a challenge in 2016, which consisted of performing long 10.500 during the 52 weeks of the year. And the goal was fulfilled. Thanks to this gesture of solidarity, a few weeks ago, the swimmer of Xàbia, donated, altruistically, the amount of 1.100 euros to Red Cross Xàbia. Along with this donation, the 5.000 euros contributed by the organization added The Original Charity Shop, for this challenge.
Garcia made the donation to José Luis Doménech, president of Xabia Red Cross, noting that "The challenge has been achieved thanks to the support received by hundreds of friends and collaborators, who have trusted me and this gesture of solidarity."
For his part, José Luis Doménech, thanked the valuable gesture Garcia, commenting that with support like this "The day to day of the institution is more bearable because Red Cross in Xàbia works tirelessly to reach all the neighbors who are in a difficult situation."
