The local assembly Red Cross Xàbia has launched today an urgent request for citizen help to be able to supply its food warehouse since it is running out of stock due to logistical problems derived from the international supply crisis.
The Red Cross urgently needs non-perishable food or hygiene products to continue making ordinary distributions among its users and prepare to meet the extraordinary demand that the war in Ukraine may generate.

Likewise, from the Red Cross they also make a special appeal to be able to cover the extraordinary needs of the refugees who have begun to arrive in the municipality and those who may arrive in the coming weeks.
All those people who want to offer disinterested help and give part of their time can contact the entity. The volunteer coordinator is available at the local headquarters (Av Alacant, 12) on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9 a.m. to 14 p.m.
