The Conselleria de Igualdad y Políticas inclusivas has called for this year the offer of 10.000 places for the program of stays in spas of the Community of the program "Valencian thermalism".
The program will be developed in two seasons from the 16 of April of 2016 to the 15 of April of 2017, in periods of eight days with accommodation in double room, maintenance in regime of full pension and thermal treatments adapted to the needs of each of the beneficiary people.
The Generalitat will contribute to the financing of the cost of the places with a maximum contribution of 126'5 euros for high season and 200 euros for low season per square to each of the beneficiaries of the program.
The deadline for submission of applications has been established from the 17 of March to the 31 of October of 2016, and may be accompanied by documentation that proceeds in the registers of the territorial addresses of Equality and Inclusive Policies, in the offices PROP or in any post office.
Requirements to access the "Valencian Thermalism" program
The requirements that applicants must meet to access the program are the following:
- People of 65 years or more.
- Persons of 60 years or more, pensioners of the Social Security System or passive classes.
- Persons of 60 years or more with functional diversity who have a disability equal to or greater than 33%.
- The spouses or de facto partners of the applicants may attend, provided they are older than 50 years.
- The children of the beneficiaries may also participate in the program, provided that they have a degree of functional diversity equal to or greater than 33%, it is impossible for them to take care of other people and depend on their parents for their performance in daily life.
- In addition, the beneficiaries must be registered in any municipality of the Valencian Community, specify the requested thermal treatments, be able to fend for themselves and not suffer mental or behavioral disorders.
The Valencian spas participating in the "Valencian thermalism"are those of Confrentes, Montanejos, Verche, Villavieja, Fuente Podrida and Benasal.
