On Monday 19 of June will take place a demonstration with the manifest reading to the 12: 00 hours in which 120 will be claimed millions of euros in the 2017 General Budgets for the fight against the macho violence. To this concentration is adhered the municipality of El Poble Nou de Benitatxell through the Department of Women and Equality in charge of Jacinta Pastor.
This is a proposal to which groups and associations for equality throughout Spain have joined. "It will consist in the reading of a manifesto next Monday, in a symbolic act of repulse of sexist violence. I encourage groups, associations and schoolchildren to participate in this necessary claim" Has pointed Pastor.
The proposal has emerged in Valencia, at a meeting in which women from different associations, generations and territories, "tired of sexist murders that nobody wants to prevent and outraged at the passivity of the State, we have agreed to promote closures in all the municipalities that celebrate the June 19", Affirmed from the collectives.
