The Department of the Environment of El Poble Nou de Benitatxell, in charge of Manolo Segarra, has been launched on the street to spread an awareness campaign about the benefits and importance of recycling. The stand will be installed every Wednesday, during the entire summer season, in the Market Square coinciding with the weekly street market.
During the campaign, free guides and fridge magnets will be distributed explaining in a very visual way how to separate the containers and where to deposit them so they can be recycled. Likewise, they also explain the start-up of the fifth organic container, a pioneer action in the municipality of Poblero. With regard to this initiative, the consistory installed a composter in the school with which schoolchildren already learn to manage bio-waste, since with the compost generated from organic waste they will be able to pay for ecological school gardens. The compost was installed along with an explanatory and didactic panel of the recycling process. The project is part of the educational actions and promotion of ecology carried out by the councils of Education and Environment.
The campaign, which was launched last week, spreads slogans and information very easy as 80 cans of

Councilman Environment, Manolo Segarra, has invited citizens to come to the stand to learn new ways to recycle and incorporate them into their daily routine.
