The mayor of El Poble Nou de Benitatxell, Josep Femenía has explained the bet that this year takes its municipality to the International Tourism Fair (FITUR), which is held next week in Madrid. The offer of sports and healthy tourism of the municipality is the great asset for the promotion of this town.
Femenía, commented, "We are a great small town that offers today a powerful and healthy tourist image. In addition, we have a great offer of outdoor sports such as hiking, scuba diving, trekking and cycling".
The maximum municipal agent pointed, "as a tourist town, the fact of who comes once, always comes back and that is a sign that things are going well".
The image given of the municipality thanks to the arrival of the last Tour of Spain with the goal at the top of Puig Lorença, served as a great showcase to the whole world. The Mayor appreciates the work of the Provincial Council and the Tourist Board in promoting the municipalities of the Costa Blanca.
