The Department of Security and Residents Dirk Rheindorf directs, is completing the signage of the Cumbre del Sol urbanization.
The aim of the action is to improve the residential vertical and horizontal signage, both in the traffic indications and in the orientation and informative signs. The works that have a budget of 12.000 euros will complete the signage plan of the area after a first phase that was awarded by 74.259 euros.
The project includes traffic code signs that indicate different zones, services and directions. Also, informative signs that facilitate the plot plans and indications of sectors and numbers to improve locations. Likewise, horizontal signage has been painted on dangerous junctions and main roads.
When the jobs are complete the top del Sol will be a safer and more comfortable urbanization by facilitating orientation for residents, health services, ambulances and postal services.
In the last legislature the government team detected the need to carry out the project through the results of the Citizen Participation Plan, undertaken in 2012. It became the most repeated request in the surveys and workshops held with neighbors and village associations. The project was presented and presented to the public during the period during which the neighbors presented 57 suggestions, which were analyzed and, where appropriate, incorporated into the final project.
It should be remembered that the Cumbre del Sol urbanization is the most extensive and visited municipality, consisting of more than 2.500 housing, about 100 kilometers of roads and the first areas built between the end of the 70 and the 80.
