El Town hall of El Poble Nou de Benitatxell will begin in February the sanitation works of the sewerage network in Valle del Portet.
The project, with a budget of EUR 90.000, a second phase will involve action in this development and will provide this service to the few remaining residential homes to connect with the sewage of the surrounding urbanization.
"Last February was equipped with this service 30 residential homes, which were connected to the sewage treatment plant of Golden Valley urbanization. Now this grant will complement this action with the few houses that remain connected with the creation of a new sewerage system"Noted, Josep Femenia, Mayor of El Poble Nou de Benitatxell.
In a letter sent to the mayor neighbors, munícipe reports that in early February 2016, construction of sewage network will begin with a duration of approximately 4 months.
The letter warns that during construction the street in question may remain partially or completely cut, depending on the needs of the work. Once the sewerage, housing number 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 52, 53, 54 and 55 should connect the water used to the new sewerage . To facilitate this work, borne by the affected residents, manholes were installed.
The mayor informs that before executing the connection of the houses to the new sewerage network, the residents of Valle del Portet must request a responsible declaration in the Town Hall and they will be informed of the characteristics of the connection chest.
This action was requested by the Municipal Department of Environment and will be implemented by the Provincial Council of Alicante through a grant. It is an aid included in the call for investments in works and repairs financially sustainable municipal cooperation adopted by the Commission for Infrastructure, Water and Environment of the Provincial Council.
The project will legalize the situation of the partial plan to conform to current regulations determined by the Regulation of the Public Water, the Law on the Legal Regime of Public Administration and Common Administrative Procedure, which establishes the requirement of a sewerage network within development services.
