The National Statistics Institute sent a report to Javea Town Hall to confirm the residence of community foreigners in the population. And it is that, these inhabitants must renew their register every two or five years, depending on whether they are registered in the Central Registry of Foreigners or not.
From mid-January to late February, a group of municipal officials visit, every house, every one of these people of the European Union to notify the renewal of the standard, to avoid low.
If the interested party does not appear to update the register, the official cancellation is made. Foreigners who want to renew, should approach the Office of Citizen, OAC, located around the Portal del Clot. This procedure must be carried out as soon as possible so that the cancellation is not made automatically, as the interested party is not present.
