The Emergency Coordination Center has issued, this noon, a new special notice due to the Heat Wave situation. From Emergencies they point out that during the weekend (from August 12 to 14) there will be a rise in temperatures, both maximum and minimum, accompanied by a Poniente wind.
Likewise, from the CCE they also report for those days a sharp drop in relative humidity and active, for the moment for Friday, the yellow warning due to high temperatures throughout the Marina Alta region.
The notice issued explains that the entire Valencian Community will be affected by the arrival of an air mass
warm that will cause a significant rise in maximum and minimum temperatures and will remain until
Sunday 14, descending moderately on Monday. The west wind will prevail during the day on Saturday on the coast.
As for temperatures, the mercury will exceed 36º, even reaching 40º, according to the forecast of the State Meteorological Agency.
